تُعد حرفة كسر الجفت في حلب فناً عريقاً يُجسّد دقة وجمال الزخرفة العربية. تعتمد على ملقط «الجفت» والفضة الخام، حيث يتم سحب الفضة إلى أسلاك رفيعة ثم استخدام أقطار عريضة كهيكل وأقطار رفيعة كحشوة زخرفية داخلية بمهارة يدوية فائقة. The craft of Kasr Al-Jaft in Aleppo is an ancient art embodying the precision and beauty of Arabic ornamentation. It relies on the "jaft" pliers and raw silver, drawing silver into fine wires then using wide diameters as a frame and fine ones as internal decorative filling with superb manual skill.

فنان تفصيل الجلود. يختار جلود الماعز المدبوغة، ثم يقصّها وفق «قوالب» خشبية مخصصة. يعتمد على «المخرز» اليدوي لخرم الجلد وخياطته بخيوط «المشمع» المتينة. A leather tailoring artist. Selects tanned goat hides, then cuts them according to dedicated wooden molds. Uses a manual awl to pierce and sew leather with durable waxed thread.
