فرنسيس المراشFrancis Al-Marrash كاتب — ١٨٣٦Writer — 1836 كتب «غابة الحق» — أول عمل سردي حكائي عربيWrote "Forest of Truth" — first Arab narrative fiction

ولد في حلب عام ١٨٣٦، وهو أحد كتاب وشعراء النهضة العربية إضافةً لكونه طبيباً. ألحق كتابه «غابة الحق» بعدد من الكتابات منها «رحلة باريس» و«در الصدف في غرائب الصدف». Born in Aleppo in 1836, he was one of the writers and poets of the Arab Renaissance as well as a physician. He followed his book "Forest of Truth" with works including "Journey to Paris" and "The Pearl of Coincidence."

أديب روائي سوري ولد في حلب عام ١٩١٢، كتب العديد من الروايات الفنية أهمها «نهم» و«قوس قزح». أما في الجانب العلمي فله مؤلفات تخصصية منها «تأثير الأوزون في مشتقات البترول». Syrian novelist born in Aleppo in 1912, wrote many artistic novels most notably "Naham" and "Rainbow." On the scientific side, he authored specialized works including "The Effect of Ozone on Petroleum Derivatives."

مريانا مراشMariana Marrash كاتبة وشاعرة — ١٨٤٨Writer & Poet — 1848 أول امرأة سورية تنشر مقالات في الصحافة العربيةFirst Syrian woman to publish articles in the Arab press

كاتبة وشاعرة سورية ولدت في حلب عام ١٨٤٨، لُقّبت بـ«رائدة النهضة النسائية في الشرق». أسست صالوناً أدبياً في أواخر القرن التاسع عشر، وخصصت كتاباتها لنقد وضع المرأة العربية وحثّها على العلم والتحرر. أهم أعمالها ديوان «بنت الفكر». Syrian writer and poet born in Aleppo in 1848, nicknamed "Pioneer of Women's Renaissance in the East." She founded a literary salon in the late 19th century and dedicated her writings to critiquing the situation of Arab women and urging education and liberation. Her most important work is the collection "Daughter of Thought."

هنرييت عبوديHenriette Abboud كاتبة ومترجمة — ١٩٣٨Writer & Translator — 1938 ترجمت «رسالة في التسامح» لفولتير إلى العربيةTranslated Voltaire's "Treatise on Tolerance" into Arabic

ولدت في حلب عام ١٩٣٨، يرتبط اسمها بحركة التنوير والفكر العربي المعاصر. عملت في مجلات ثقافية كبرى مثل «الآداب» و«الصياد» في لبنان، وأصدرت عدة روايات منها «وداعاً يا ماردين». Born in Aleppo in 1938, her name is linked to the Enlightenment movement and contemporary Arab thought. She worked in major cultural magazines such as "Al-Adab" and "Al-Sayyad" in Lebanon, and published several novels including "Farewell Mardin."

عبد الله يوركي حلاقAbdullah Yorki Hallaq كاتب وصحفي — ١٩١١Writer & Journalist — 1911 أنشأ مجلة «الضاد الأدبية» عام ١٩٣١Founded the literary magazine "Al-Dad" in 1931

كاتب وصحفي سوري ولد في حلب عام ١٩١١. أحد أهم أعماله «في حمى الحرم» في المرحلة الأولى من تحقيب الرواية السورية، ومن الصفات المميزة للعمل الوعظ والإرشاد. Syrian writer and journalist born in Aleppo in 1911. One of his most important works is "In the Sanctuary's Fever" from the first phase of Syrian novel periodization, characterized by its moral and educational tone.

ولد في مدينة حلب عام ١٨٥٨. كان جسراً ثقافياً ربط بين أصالة الأدب الحلبي القديم وبين الحداثة العالمية، حيث سخّر ثروته وثقافته الواسعة لخدمة اللغة العربية وتوثيق أعلام مدينته الشهباء. Born in Aleppo in 1858. He was a cultural bridge connecting the authenticity of ancient Aleppan literature with global modernity, dedicating his wealth and vast knowledge to serving the Arabic language and documenting the figures of his city.

كامل الغزيKamil Al-Ghazzi مؤرخ وأديبHistorian & Writer لُقِّب بـ«مؤرخ حلب» ومؤسس النقد الأدبي الحديث في سورياNicknamed "Historian of Aleppo" and founder of modern literary criticism in Syria

يُعد مؤسس النقد الأدبي الحديث في سوريا. أهم أعماله «منهل الورّاد في علم الانتقاد» — أول كتاب عربي يضع قواعد علمية للنقد الأدبي. كما ألّف موسوعة «نهر الذهب في تاريخ حلب» وهي أضخم وأدق مرجع تاريخي لمدينة حلب. Considered the founder of modern literary criticism in Syria. His most important work is "The Watering Place in Literary Criticism" — the first Arabic book establishing scientific rules for literary criticism. He also authored the encyclopedia "River of Gold in the History of Aleppo."

خيرة الله خانكانKhaira Allah Khankan شاعرة — ١٩٢٢Poet — 1922 لُقِّبت بـ«شاعرة الحنين»Nicknamed "Poet of Nostalgia"

ولدت في مدينة حلب عام ١٩٢٢، عُرفت بقصائدها التي تفوح بعبير التراث والارتباط بالحياة الاجتماعية في حلب. أبرز أعمالها ديوان «أغاريد». تكمن أهمية شعرها في قدرتها على صياغة العاطفة الإنسانية بأسلوب كلاسيكي رصين. Born in Aleppo in 1922, known for poems fragrant with heritage and connection to Aleppan social life. Her most prominent work is the collection "Songs." Her poetry's importance lies in her ability to express human emotion in a classical, dignified style.

عمر أبو ريشةOmar Abu Risheh شاعر — ١٩١٠Poet — 1910 لُقِّب بـ«شاعر الجمال والكبرياء»Nicknamed "Poet of Beauty and Pride"

ولد في منبج ريف حلب عام ١٩١٠. تميّز شعره بالكبرياء القومي والرقة الفنية العالية. أبرز أعماله قصيدة «عروس المجد» التي استطاع من خلالها تحويل الحدث التاريخي إلى حالة وجدانية جامعاً في أدبه بين رقة العاطفة وجزالة اللفظ. Born in Manbij, Aleppo countryside, in 1910. His poetry was distinguished by national pride and high artistic delicacy. His most notable work is the poem "Bride of Glory," combining tenderness of feeling with eloquence of expression.
