نبذة عن الفنان About the Artist
سعد يكن وُلد في حلب عام ١٩٥٠، ودرس الفنون الجميلة في حلب ثم دمشق، قبل أن يؤسس «The Point»، وهو غاليري للفن والأدب في المدينة. يُعد من الفنانين الذين ارتبطت أعمالهم مباشرة بالحياة الحلبية ومشهدها اليومي. Saad Yakn was born in Aleppo in 1950 and studied fine arts in Aleppo then Damascus, before founding "The Point," an art and literature gallery in the city. He is considered one of the artists whose works are directly connected to Aleppan life and its daily scene.
تتكرر في لوحاته الشخصيات والجماعات والازدحام البشري بلغة تشكيلية ذات طابع تعبيري واضح. كما عُرف بنشاطه الثقافي خارج اللوحة، من خلال حضوره في المشهد الفني والإعلامي في حلب. His paintings repeatedly feature characters, groups and human crowds in a visual language with a clear expressive character. He was also known for his cultural activity beyond the canvas, through his presence in the artistic and media scene in Aleppo.
